Support Me

$25 per mile x 270 miles = $6,750 Goal*

With every mile, you support programs to help families in need with housing, healthcare, and other critical issues.

This summer I will be embarking on a 25 night, 270 mile hike through the Sierras, including climbing the tallest mountain in the 48 States – Mount Whitney. I am doing this impart to highlight the homelessness crisis that we have in Southern California and raise to funds to help make a difference.

The Salvation Army has been dealing with homelessness since it first planted its flag in Los Angeles in 1887.  In just the past two years, The Salvation Army in Southern California provided more than 800,000 nights of lodging for the homeless, fed more than 2 million hungry people and on a national level, has provided a wide range of social services to 27 million Americans.
